Overview
Mark is the Managing Principal of the Institutional Investment Services division of CliftonLarsonAllen Wealth Advisors, LLC. As a member of the investment committee, he is deeply involved in developing the firm's allocation policies.
Mark also oversees the research and implementation of alternative investment structures within institutional client portfolios and has authored white papers on risk budgeting and the employment of alternative investments within allocation policy.
Mark has nearly 30 years of investment experience and serves as a senior portfolio manager and consultant to the firm's highest net worth and largest institutional clientele.
Prior to the formation of CliftonLarsonAllen Wealth Advisors, LLC in 2012, Mark was the Chief Investment Officer and the principle architect of the investment strategies and disciplines employed by Clifton Gunderson Wealth Advisors.
Education
Mark received both his B.S. and M.S. degrees from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana, and his Certified Investment Management Analyst designation from the Investment Management Consultants Association in conjunction with the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
Mark is a frequent guest speaker around the country presenting the firm's views on the capital markets and economy.
In the community
Mark is a member of the Investment Management Consultants Association (IMCA), and sits on the Board of non profit organizations within his local community. He is also a volunteer instructor for Junior Achievement and has mentored youth through Best Friends of Neenah/Menasha.
