Profile

Brian has more than 17 years of public accounting experience, with a focus on higher education (both private and public schools) and nonprofit organizations. Brian has extensive experience developing financial statement audit plans and reviewing work performed by staff. Brian oversees the audit from planning to completion with constant communication throughout the audit with management and the board. His proactive collaborative approach with each client allows his industry experience and guidance on current topics to be provided seamlessly through the audit process. Additionally, Brian provides regular guidance on topics and trends such as financial statement presentation, implementation of new standards, single audit compliance, endowment accounting and corporate governance affecting both public and private schools and foundations.
