Fort Myers and Naples, FL (May 19, 2022) — Today, CLA (CliftonLarsonAllen LLP), one of the leading professional service firms in the United States, announced it has been named one of the 2022 Best Places to Work in Southwest Florida. Created in 2022 by the Gulfshore Business and Best Companies Group, this regional survey and awards program was designed to identify, recognize, and honor the best places of employment in Southwest Florida.
The 2022 Best Places to Work in Southwest Florida list is made up of 16 companies. To be considered for participation, companies had to fulfill the following eligibility requirements:
- Have at least 15 employees working in Southwest Florida (Charlotte, Collier, De Soto, Glades, Hendry, and Lee Counties, along with the Fort Myers-Naples DMA)
- Be a for-profit or nonprofit business or government entity
- Be a publicly or privately held business
- Have a facility in the Southwest Florida region
- Be in business a minimum of one year
Companies from across the region entered the two-part selection process. The first part consisted of evaluating each nominated company’s workplace policies, practices, and demographics. This part of the process was worth approximately 25% of the total evaluation. The second part consisted of an employee survey to measure employee experience. This part of the process was worth approximately 75% of the total evaluation. The combined scores determined the top companies and the final rankings. Best Companies Group managed the overall registration and survey process and analyzed the data — using their knowledge and experience to determine the final rankings.

CLA will be recognized in the June edition of Gulfshore Business, where the rankings will be revealed for the first time along with profiles of each winning company.
