With more than 250 transactions under his belt, Joe Baez, principal in CLA's Oak Brook office, receives some well-deserved recognition as a winner of the 7th Annual M&A Advisor’s Emerging Leaders Awards.

The M&A Advisor, renowned globally for its recognition of leading M&A Turnaround and Finance professionals, created the Emerging Leaders Summit featuring The Emerging Leaders Awards to promote mentorship and professional development amongst emerging business leaders.
Baez has been chosen for his accomplishments and knowledge from a pool of international nominees by an independent judging panel of distinguished business leaders.

Baez is a graduate of Illinois State University and began his career with CLA in 2001. He works with owners and investors of manufacturing and distribution companies as they plan and prepare for ownership succession and transition. Baez has worked on more than 250 transactions in his career serving as both a buy side and sell side advisor. Through this experience, he has gained a comprehensive understanding of the concerns confronting owners and managers of middle market companies.
