Arlington, Virginia — October 14, 2013 — CliftonLarsonAllen (CLA), a top 10 national accounting and consulting firm, today announced the addition of industry veteran David J. Trimner as a principal in the firm’s public sector tax practice.
Trimner will be based in the firm’s Arlington, Virginia, office and will serve a wide array of nonprofit, higher education and healthcare clients. Previously a tax partner with BDO, he has served the tax-exempt community in the Washington D.C. metro area for more than 15 years and has been an active leader and speaker for organizations including the AICPA as well as the Greater Washington, Virginia, and Maryland Societies of CPAs.

Trimmer received his undergraduate degree from James Madison University, and earned his master’s degree in taxation from American University.
