CLA Talks Video: Meeting Nonprofit Challenges With Innovation and Investment
Innovators solve problems and help nonprofits meet challenges. In this six-minute clip from February 2016, Rosie Allen-Herring, president and CEO of the United Way of the National Capital Area, relates the success of an innovative fundraising effort called Do More 24. The annual campaign increases giving at a nontraditional time, allowing area United Way agencies to end the fiscal year on a stronger financial footing.
Allen-Herring spoke at Innovation for Nonprofits: Strategies for Competitive Advantage, Growth, and Efficiency, a forum in Washington that was co-sponsored by CliftonLarsonAllen, Hartman Executive Advisors, and the Edison Electric Institute.
