Minneapolis — April 23, 2012 — CliftonLarsonAllen (CLA), ranked as one of the nation’s top 10 certified public accounting and consulting firms serving a variety of industries, including health care, has announced three professionals will participate in the 2012 LTC 100 Leadership and Strategy Conference, held May 5-8 at the Ritz-Carlton in Naples Beach, Florida.

LTC 100 is the premier conference for executives in skilled nursing, long term care, and transitional care to share best practices, strategize for the future, and help position the sector for success in the evolving health care environment.

John Richter, chief practice officer of industries and managing partner of CLA’s health care group, will be a moderator for the session titled CEO Focus Group: Strategies for Success in Uncertain Times. He has more than 25 years of experience providing strategic and financial consulting, public accounting, and reimbursement consultation for health care organizations. Richter has served on the LTC 100 conference board for more than a decade.

Michael Slavik, CLA partner and national partner-in-charge of senior living, will moderate two sessions titled Think Tank: Rising to the “20 Percent” Challenge and A View from Inside the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. He has more than 20 years of experience providing public accounting, tax and reimbursement consulting, and financial advisory services to health care organizations.

Andy Edeburn, CLA health care consulting manager, will be a moderator on the session titled Think Tank: Strategies for Rural Providers. He has nearly 20 years of consulting experience, helping post-acute and senior service clients explore new business models and prepare for the impact of health care reform on both strategic and tactical fronts.

Richter, Slavik, and Edeburn join other presenters, Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services insiders, and professionals who are contributing to the 15-session program.
