Erin Henseler, a manager with CLA, has been awarded the M&A Advisor’s Emerging Leader Award for her outstanding contributions in the private equity and transactions arena.
Erin Henseler, manager at CLA in Minneapolis, was named a winner in the service professional category of the M&A Advisor’s Emerging Leaders Awards.
The M&A Advisor, renowned globally for its recognition of leading M&A, financing, and turnaround professionals, created the award program to promote mentorship and professional development amongst emerging business leaders.
This is the seventh consecutive year that a CLA professional has received this award. Henseler was chosen from a pool of international nominees by an independent judging panel of distinguished business leaders. She will accept the award in person at the 2019 Emerging Leaders Awards Program and Summit on September 17, 2019.
Henseler was one of the earliest members of CLA’s private equity and transaction advisory team and has overseen hundreds of transactions in her career. She has served as the primary financial diligence lead on more than 50 transactions and is spearheading the team’s growth in the Minneapolis market.

Henseler helped develop the reporting processes used by the CLA team today, and has been instrumental in helping recruit and train new team members. Her accomplishments include: improving processes and deliverables, creating learning and development content, and presenting at transaction services training conferences. Erin also leads CLA’s Young Advisory Council for the private equity team. The council brings inventive ideas to team leadership to promote innovation and growth.
