CLA Benefit Plan Wins the 2015 Best in Class 401(k) Award
Minneapolis — July 29, 2015 — PLANSPONSOR magazine recently honored CliftonLarsonAllen (CLA) with the Best in Class 401(k) Award. “Best in Class” is the highest standard of excellence as judged by PLANSPONSOR’s research and editorial team. Fewer than one percent of the nearly 4,000 plan sponsors that responded to the magazine’s defined contribution survey were designated “Best in Class.”
CLA’s plan was designed by CliftonLarsonAllen Wealth Advisors, LLC. Each of the nearly 4,000 organizations that participated in the survey was scored on more than 30 criteria, including plan design, oversight and governance, and participant outcomes. The 29 plans distinguished as “Best in Class” represent diverse industries and demographic profiles, however all were notable for their easy-to-use features.
CLA’s results included a 90 percent employee participation rate (compared to 77.1 percent in all other plans) with an average deferral of 7.7 percent (compared to 6.4 percent in all other plans). CLA also provides a variety of financial education opportunities.
