Paul Novak’s nearly 20 years of experience in investment banking and private equity adds depth to the firm’s capabilities for privately held businesses and their owners.
CliftonLarsonAllen (CLA), a national professional services firm, is pleased to announce that Paul Novak has joined the firm as a managing director in the growing investment banking advisory practice.
As managing director, Novak will focus on mergers and acquisitions advisory and interface with CLA’s clients, prospects, private equity firms, and other industry contacts. CLA’s clients, which include thousands of privately held businesses and their owners, will benefit from Novak’s extensive and successful track record of providing valued advice and flawless transaction execution.

Prior to joining CLA, Novak has spent the greater part of 20 years as an investment banker and private equity investor at The Cherry Tree Companies, Lazard Middle Market LLC, IronRock Capital Partners, and Capital for Business. During his career, Novak has completed numerous sell-side advisory assignments, leveraged buyouts, and private placements in a broad array of industries. His experience in the lower middle-market gives him a distinctive understanding of the process owners experience during business transitions.
