Anna DeSimone Named Influential Woman in Housing
Belmont, Massachusetts — November 11, 2014 — CliftonLarsonAllen (CLA), a national professional services firm, today announced Anna DeSimone, president of Bankers Advisory, a CliftonLarsonAllen LLP Division, has been named to HousingWire’s 2014 Influential Women in Housing.
Launched in 2010, this recognition program is the first of its kind in the U.S. mortgage trade press. Honors are given to indivduals who are making notable contributions to both their businesses and to the industry at-large – with a specific focus on contributions made in the most recent 12 months. DeSimone joins 29 other honorees being recognized.
"Influence is often difficult to define, yet this year’s group of honorees embody the very spirit of that word. The accomplishments highlighted by each person named to HousingWire’s Influential Women in Housing demonstrate unique commitment and vision that ultimately separates influential leaders from the rest of the pack," said Paul Jackson, CEO of HousingWire.
DeSimone founded Bankers Advisory in 1986 and is considered one of the nation’s top authorities in the area of credit risk, fair lending, and regulatory compliance. She manages the Belmont operations and is a principal of CLA. DeSimone has authored more than 30 guidebooks and hundreds of industry articles, and has developed numerous technology applications, educational videos, and has been honored at two Presidential dinners.
