Producer, Tax, and Succession Planning Update

Proper planning is key to the success of any endeavor. This complimentary joint session presented by CLA (CliftonLarsonAllen LLP) and the Lee and Whiteside County Farm Bureaus will help members address challenging planning topics: tax reform, succession, and estate planning. Additional sessions will focus on information technology security and the farm bill.

At the end of this session, you will be able to:

  • Evaluate tax planning opportunities based on the current tax code and its anticipated impact on your return
  • Understand options available to effectively transfer a farm operation to the next generation or other successor
  • Identify ways to manage cybersecurity risks
  • Develop a better understanding of the farm bill
