This intensive, one-day session addressed a wide range of challenges facing local governments, including how to communicate with elected officials. During the session, CLA professionals covered best practices for accounting and give an update on the Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB), single audits, and the current economic climate.

Detailed discussion about the new GASB 87 standard. Develop a broad recognition of the new GASB standard. Identify the effective date for the new lease accounting standards. Identify the presentation requirements and much more.
