CLA invites you to join us for a session covering steps you can take to make certain your school district experiences a successful year-end. We’ll discuss common capital asset problems, the impact of the Governmental Accounting Standards Board Statement No. 84 (GASB 84), and steps you can take to ensure a smooth year-end transaction wrap-up.

You can attend the session via webinar from 9 a.m. – noon, or in-person in our newly refreshed Phoenix office. We’ll even provide a complimentary breakfast. Please note that CPE credit will only be offered to those attending in-person. Individuals attending via webcast will not receive CPE credit.

At the end of this session, you will be able to:

  • Identify the pitfalls of reviewing capital assets so they can accurately record and report and stay in compliance.
  • Recognize the impact GASB 84 and how it will impact the way districts record student activities.
  • Prepare year-end cut off to ensure transactions are recorded in the correct period.
