Technology has fundamentally changed what is possible in modern accounting systems and applications. While some accounting systems have maintained the status quo, others have adapted to the changing needs of organizations and the marketplace. When focusing on operational improvement and cost savings, many organizations are looking to technology to solve issues related to back office accounting. We will cover what it looks like to transform your back office; discussing internal controls, the use of APIs (application programming interfaces) in modern accounting systems, and many benefits of migrating to cloud based systems.
