The Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) recently issued the long awaited changes to the Bank Secrecy Act pertaining to customer due diligence (CDD) requirements.

Compliance with the new rule is not required until May 11, 2018; however, institutions can begin to adopt the final rule requirements to alleviate some potential burden in the future.

During this webinar on September 28, 2016, CLA provided financial institutions with an overview of the CDD final rule and offered suggestions on how institutions can begin to implement the new requirements.
