Please join CLA and the New Jersey Export Council at our Women in International Trade Roundtable. During this complimentary in-person event, we encourage you to participate in an open conversation led by Kelly O’Malley, VP, Business Development at Medical Indicators.
During the roundtable, Kelly will share stories and examples of challenges she experienced when rising through the ranks as a female executive. Though challenges in the professional setting are a given, the source of said challenges may surprise you.
Kelly will cover the “trifecta” of challenges she has faced from:
- Coworkers — top down, bottom up, and even side to side, coworkers can sometimes cause more harm than good
- Customers — even after changes were made thanks to the Me Too movement, there is still a ways to go … especially in international relations
- Colleagues — associates outside of your organization, with a “supposed” shared goal, often put themselves before the team

Kelly O’Malley, VP, Business Development, Medical Indicators
Kelly is a seasoned professional with nearly 20 years of marketing, sales, business development, and strategic leadership experience. Serving as the global director of sales and marketing, Kelly is charged with leading the international growth and expansion for Medical Indicators, Inc. — an industry-leading, U.S.-based medical device manufacturer. In this capacity, she is responsible for researching, establishing, and growing Medical Indicators’ distribution networks in more than 40 countries around the world.
Kelly has a proven track record of defining and executing goals with measurable results by implementing strategic sales, marketing, and business development initiatives that increase brand awareness, aid in client retention and revenue generation, and improve company-wide operations.
