If a county provider receives $100,000 or more in county funding from purchases for services provided, the provider is required to submit an audited financial statement in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and in compliance with the guidelines provided by the Wisconsin Department of Health Services and Wisconsin Department of Children and Families.

Join our complimentary webinar to understand what is required for an audit, the audit process, and how to prepare yourself for an audit.

At the end of this session, you will be able to:

  • Understand Department of Health Services audit requirements
  • Preview what a typical audit looks like
  • Gain a better understanding of what items are needed for an audit
  • Know how to prepare yourself for an audit

Who should attend

This session is designed for county provider entities that will potentially need an audit because of the State of Wisconsin Provider Agency Audit Guide. The guide establishes the audit requirements for agencies receiving funding from the department, whether directly or indirectly. Wisconsin counties, please forward this invitation to your county providers.

Please register by August 18, 2022.
