James P. Davidson, CPA
Jim is a principal in the construction and real estate group in the Minneapolis office of CliftonLarsonAllen. He has been with the firm since 1989. Jim spends the majority of his time serving contractors, developers and property owners, as well as companies that serve this industry such as engineering and architectural companies. He spends a significant amount of time in the litigation support and claims area. Jim has extensive experience in audit, accounting, tax, and consulting for clients ranging in size from small start-ups to contractors with revenues in excess of $100 million. Jim has been involved in consulting with clients related to both short- and long-range planning, operational issues, owner and management transitions, and acquisition or sale of businesses, as well as traditional tax and estate planning.
Perry H. McGowan, CPA JC, LLM, MBT
Perry is a professional tax advisor with CliftonLarsonAllen LLP. He practices with in the firm’s construction and real estate practice group in Minneapolis, Minnesota, providing advisory services focused on the tax planning issues of real estate owners, designers, and builders. With more than 31 years’ experience in the Twin Cities, Perry works with small and family owned businesses and their CPAs on thoughtful tax strategies, transaction design, and tax risk analysis. His client services include large compliance and complex transactional work with businesses in the construction and real property industries, professional practices, and manufacturers.
Benson P. Theuninck, CPA, MBT, CGMA
Ben is principal in the Minneapolis office. With more than 22 years of public accounting experience, he is responsible for performing and supervising tax, accounting, and consulting engagements. He is a member of the firm’s Construction tax leadership team, working to enhance the firm’s service capabilities to contractors, owner/operators and individuals in the construction industry.
Eric E. Kirschner, CPA, CCIFP
Eric is a principal in CLA’s construction practice in Minneapolis. Eric has focused his public accounting experience in the construction industry advising clients on both tax and financial statement matters. Eric works with a number of specialty subcontractors in the excavation, aggregates, concrete, drywall, electrical and mechanical trades, and highway/heavy and utility contractors. Growing up in a construction household Eric has a deep-rooted interest and passion for helping privately held construction companies and their owners.
