Michele's experience as the Vice President of Finance for a nonprofit organization has aided her in developing a comprehensive understanding of the challeges faced by nonprofit organizations on a daily basis and a deep appreciation for the client's perspective during audit engagements. This combined with more than 30 years of public accounting experience working with nonprofit organizations has aided her in being able to efficiently and effectively conduct and manage engagements to ensure the client's expectations are met timely and with professionalism.
Having worked with a variety of nonprofit healthcare and social service organizations over the years and conducting Yellow Book and Single Audit engagements, Michele has gained extensive experience and knowledge in compliance auditing of state and federal grants.
In addition, she has provided operational consulting services to her clients which has streamlined organizations, improved internal controls and strengthened financial understanding.
Michele participated in the firm's Leadership Development Series training program in 2016
