Overview

I serve as a principal at CLA responsible for providing Specialized Advisory Services. Our multi-disciplined team of professionals focus on the needs of our client's business risk environment.

Through the development of a proven methodology and approach, the practice is prepared to assess and address the strategic, financial, operational and compliance risks our client's face everyday. We bring world class solutions through our cyber security, internal audit, enterprise risk management and compliance solutions.

Prior to joining CLA, I served as the Risk Advisory Leader at  the largest regional accounting, tax and advisory firm in New England.

Over the course of a 28-year career at a Big Four firm, I was responsible for major business transformations in both the Financial/IT Risk Assurance and Consulting Practices. I worked with a wide range of companies, startup to Fortune 100, in technology, financial services, healthcare, biotech, manufacturing, government, retail, gaming, and hospitality.

At the firm, I built a reputation for my ability to assess, turn around, build out, and grow practices. Highlights included supporting the rollout of the advisory practice amid fallout of the Great Recession and rebranding the New England Risk Advisory Practice with capabilities for non-audit clients.

I was part of the team that supported a cybersecurity practice and quality assurance initiative. I leveraged the the firm's brand, service offerings, and deep personal investment to build a global partnership with a Fortune 125 technology company.

I continue to serve as an Adjunct Professor of Accounting at Boston College where I teach Accounting Information Systems in the Masters of Accounting (MSA) program.
