Director of Compliance in the Financial Institutions Group of CliftonLarsonAllen LLP. Maureen specializes in BSA/AML/OFAC independent testing. She has 46 years' experience with financial institutions; the last 27 years focusing on regulatory compliance.
Prior to joining CliftonLarsonAllen Maureen was a manager with RSM McGladrey, Inc. for almost seven years. Maureen spent two years in Arizona as the compliance officer, Community Reinvestment Act officer and Bank Secrecy Act officer for a new bank. Her duties included developing, implementing, and monitoring the compliance function and programs; writing policies, procedures, and disclosures for regulatory compliance; training staff, management, and the board of directors; developing website and maintaining compliance; and reviewing advertisements for regulatory compliance.
Maureen was the vice president, operations manager and BSA officer for a bank in Southern California for seven years prior to relocating to Northern California where she was the compliance officer, BSA officer, CRA officer, OFAC officer, and internal auditor for a national bank. She was also instrumental in the opening of a bank branch in Northern California.
Maureen is a graduate of the Connecticut School of Finance Management at Fairfield University, attended Western CUNA Management School and has completed more than 35 courses through Bankers Training and Consulting Company, the American Institute of Banking and the Institute of Financial Education.
