Barbara Gottlieb

Overview

Barbara Gottlieb is a principal in the Century City office of CLA.  Since 1988 she has focused her practice in forensic services and financial litigation.  Ms. Gottlieb's practice includes civil litigation as well as white collar criminal defense.  She has testified as an expert witness in U.S. District Court, U.S. Bankruptcy Court, Superior Court as well as administrative and ADR proceedings. 

Ms. Gottlieb has extensive background in real estate.  She served as the senior vice president of finance for a real estate development and property management firm where she was responsible for the all financial reporting and asset management for a large real estate portfolio inlcuding 5-star hotels and 2.8 million square feet of premier office buildings.  Ms. Gottlieb was responsible for the financial reporting and served as the liaison to the firm's institutional joint venture partners.

Prior to that Ms. Gottlieb served as the vice president of finance for a real estate syndication firm where she was responsible for all facets of the financial operations of the firm, including acquisition review, preparation of the private placement offering memoranda and supervision of the property management arm of the operation.

Ms. Gottlieb was formerly an audit supervisor/manager for Deloitte & Touche in the Los Angeles office.
