Overview
Alex spent most of his childhood in the suburbs of Cincinnati, OH. He received his BS in Physics from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in 2015. Alex worked in various roles as a software engineer before returning to school full-time to pursue his PhD in Biostatistics at Indiana University School of Medicine in 2018. His research interests include high-dimensional analysis, low rank-detection, subspace clustering and machine learning. Alex has experience with traditional, statistical approaches to problems such as linear/non-linear regression in addition to a wide variety of machine learning/artificial intelligence methods.
