Randy Wells

Overview

Randy joined CliftonLarsonAllen LLP in 2012 following 22 years of practice with another national accounting firm in the Pacific Northwest. With the recent acquisitions in Los Angeles area for CLA, Randy has transitioned as the Managing Principal of the Southern California Area. He is also currently the principal-in-charge of transaction services and private equity groups for the western region at CLA.

Experience serving clients

Randy has over 28 years of experience in public accounting and has led buy-side and sell-side quality of earnings projects for private equity groups, various investment banks and clients primarily in the manufacturing and distribution, food and beverage, healthcare, technology and construction industries.

Education

Randy holds a BA from Eastern Washington University and a member of the Accounting Advisory Board for the College of Business and Public Administration of Eastern Washington University.

In the community

Randy is the past president of the Association for Corporate Growth, Seattle Chapter and co-chair of the ACG Northwest Middle Market Growth Conference. ACG is the premier association for executives involved in deal making for large to middle market companies. Membership is comprised of leaders from public and private corporations, private equity firms, financial institutions, and professional services firms. Randy was also on the Board of the Association for Washington Business.

 

He is a Certified Public Accountant, Chartered Global Management Accountant and was on the Board of the Washington Society of Certified Public Accountants, as well as a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
