Tax planning and compliance for cooperatives and the agribusiness industry (grain, dairy, nut, fruit). Focus on federal and state strategic tax planning, ASC740 calculations, maximizing cooperative and member benefits, and representation before the IRS and other state taxing authorities. Assists clients understanding the Affordable Care Act and how it impacts their business. Speaker at various local and national organizations on technical tax topics such as the principles of cooperative taxation, tax planning, the Affordable Care Act, and various state tax matters.
