Jennifer Putnam

Overview

Jennifer is a director in the public sector group of CLA.  She has over 17 years of experience auditing public schools, independent schools, colleges and universities, and other nonprofit organizations, including prior experience in public accounting working for an international accounting firm. 

She is currently a member of the firm's National Assurance Technical Group, serving as a firm wide technical resource for the public sector group where she oversees compliance with professional standards and policies for the nonprofit industry group and provides technical assistance, training and quality review of audits in the nonprofit, higher education, single audit, and affordable housing practices. She is also heavily involved in the implementation of ASC 842 - Leases. 

Jennifer's professional certifications include Certified Public Accountant, UNM Essentials for Managers Certificate, and AICPA Intermediate Single Audit Certificate.

Jennifer is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New Mexico Society of Certified Public Accountants. She also served as Co-Chair for the American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Albuquerque Leadership Committee.
