Tim Muehler

Profile

Tim Muehler has spent over 24 years in public accounting and has been actively engaged in business valuation work since 1996. He is experienced in individual and fiduciary tax planning and consultation, including acquisitions and mergers, and estate planning. Mr. Muehler leads CLA's Estate and Gift Tax Valuation practice and has prepared hundreds of business valuations for Estate and Gift tax purposes. He has assisted clients in successfully supporting and defending these reports to the IRS dozens of times. His experience also includes a wide variety of litigation support engagements. During the past 20 years, Muehler has testified on contract and business disputes, various types of business valuations, and computation of damages.

Technical expertise

Extensive experience in preparation of entity valuations for family limited partnerships, LLCs, and other holding entities. Extensive experience in gift and estate tax and financial planning, financial analysis and forensic services, damages analysis, and mergers and acquisitions. Testified in business matters, including accounting, damages, business interruption, business valuation, and related issues.
