Steve Livingston

Overview

I have over 35 years experience as a Certified Public Accountant and practice primarily in the public sector/nonprofit industry group and in the construction and real estate industry group at CliftonLarsonAllen (CLA). I have worked with clients in many industries during my career including manufacturing, wholesale/retail, construction, real estate, hospitality, agricultural, medical research, professional and other services. I also have extensive experience advising clients on business entity selection including C corporations, S corporations, partnerships, LLC's and sole proprietorships as well as experience assisting clients in reorganizing, selling and acquiring businesses. I love working with nonprofits and with business owners in helping them achieve their dreams. I have led the nonprofit tax reporting and tax compliance section of the CLA regional tax practice for New Mexico, Arizona and Colorado and consult regularly with the firm's nonprofit clients on federal and state compliance and reporting issues as well as on structuring for-profit activities conducted by a nonprofit.
