Ann Joda

Overview

Ann has more than 25 years of public accounting experience, including six years with a Big Four firm. She has extensive experience working with a variety of nonprofit organizations and employee benefit plans and is a regional leader overseeing CLA's Wisconsin Employee Benefit Plan Group. She assists in the development of firm wide industry training and development of audit tools. Ann is actively involved in CLA's internal inspections and peer reviews for other accounting firms. Ann's technical expertise includes overseeing and managing audits of nonprofit organizations, defined contribution plans, defined benefit plans, health and welfare plans, and employee stock ownership plans. She has significant experience with plans that require an 11-K filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission. Ann serves as a firm wide technical resource on employee benefit plan audit related issues. Her background includes assisting clients on accounting issues, plan qualification issues, Department of Labor compliance matters, fraud risk, internal controls, implementation of new accounting standards, and financial reporting issues.
