Overview
With almost 25 years of accounting and finance experience, Jennifer Harkness is a CPA who serves as a Client Relationship Leader for CLA CAST (Consulting and Accounting Solutions Team) in the greater Raleigh area of North Carolina. As part of CLA's Consulting and Outsourcing practice, CAST is an experienced team of CPAs, consultants and other professionals serving clients varying in size and complexity, including Fortune 100 companies, non-profits, closely-held businesses, and start-ups. We work closely with client leadership to understand their business and the challenges they are facing, so that we may help them as they navigate volatility, special projects, capacity issues, system implementation needs, or workforce shortages via interim role solutions.
Prior to joining CLA, Jennifer held senior finance and leadership roles for nonprofits, founded a successful start-up company, and provided fractional Controller and CFO services to multiple 501c6 business organizations, private equity and law firms, and membership associations. She began her career in taxation at a Big 6 accounting firm in Washington DC.
