Overview
Jason is the Retail Leader for the Dallas Office. He is responsible for tax research, planning and compliance for privately owned businesses and their owners. Jason has significant experience with for-profit entities, including corporations, S corporations, partnerships, and individuals. He joined the firm in January, 2006 working out of our St. Louis offices until he relocated to Dallas in April, 2012.
His Tehcnical Expertise includes:
- Extensive experience serving individuals, families, and a broad range of privately held companies across the middle market with their tax compliance and tax consulting needs
- Representation of his clients before the IRS
- Identifying opportunities and solutions to decrease his client's tax burden
- Acquisition and disposition modeling with an emphasis on minimizing taxation on both buy-side and sell-side transactions
