Kevin Buckley has extensive experience in Long Term Care Business Office operations, compliance, auditing and revenue management as well as Cost Reports. He is a consultant specializing in Skilled Nursing billing including all payers – Medicare Part A, Part B, Managed Care, Medicaid, Coinsurance and others, business office performance improvement, best practices and education and training. He has also been involved in Operations Assessments and Revenue Cycle Assessments reviewing compliance and the overall functions of SNF Organizations Nationwide.
Kevin has presented numerous seminars for state associations and organizations across the country on PBJ Implementation.
Experience in serving clients
Kevin has over 20 years’ experience as a Business Office Manager and consultant. Prior to joining CliftonLarsonAllen, he was involved in all aspects of long term care billing, compliance, audit and training for several nursing homes. Kevin was responsible for upgrading information technology systems, networks and establishing training in a 96 bed facility transitioning from manual systems to electronic as well as upgrading hardware throughout the facility. He was responsible for accounts receivable analysis, collections and policy and procedure revisions that resulted in drastic reduction of accounts receivable and increased cash flow.
Kevin’s experience involves working closely with staff throughout the spectrum – management, financial, clinical, admissions, MDS, rehab and social services. He has also had tremendous success working with clients on Medicaid Credit Balance Audits and has significantly reduced the amount owed to the Comm. of Ma.
While with CliftonLarsonAllen, Kevin has been involved with special projects aimed at reducing DSO and Accounts Receivable for clients. He has traveled across the country working with clients on training and education as well as compliance audits, revenue cycle assessments and operational reviews.
