Area employers rated by employees, recognized for their culture

Today, CLA (CliftonLarsonAllen LLP), the eighth largest accounting firm in the United States, announced its San Antonio office has been selected as a 2023 Best Places to Work honoree by the San Antonio Business Journal.

The award program relies on employee surveys to determine the winners in five categories. CLA’s San Antonio office was recognized in the small company category (25 – 49 employees).

“We are very excited about this honor and proud of the work we do to create a welcoming, supportive culture,” said Adam Schleper, managing principal for CLA’s San Antonio office. “To have our people acknowledge that means a great deal to me and the entire leadership team.”

Cathy Clarke is CLA’s chief culture officer. She said this recognition reaffirms CLA’s priorities as a firm are where they need to be.

“We’ve created a culture of belonging at CLA,” said Clarke. “Congratulations to the office leadership and team for leaning in to our values and creating a place where we embrace all voices.”

The San Antonio Business Journal announced the list in May and will reveal where each winner ranks in its category at an awards ceremony July 20.
