Jessica was chosen from among hundreds of nominees for this distinguished honor.

New Bedford, MA — October 14, 2016 — Jessica Platt, principal-in-charge in CLA’s New Bedford office, has been selected for one of the 2016 Massachusetts Society of CPAs’ Women to Watch awards.

Each year, hundreds of nominations are narrowed down to just six winners — three each in the emerging and experienced leaders categories. Jessica is one of the emerging leader honorees.

These winners are chosen based on their accomplishments in:

  • Mentoring other professionals
  • Workplace initiatives and improvements
  • Overall contributions to the profession and workplace
  • Public or community service
  • Involvement with their alma maters or other colleges and universities

“One of my mentors was honored with this award a few years ago, so you can imagine how thrilled I am to follow in her footsteps,” Jessica says. “It’s also a credit to our firm’s emphasis on leadership. And it’s especially gratifying to see more women recognized for their leadership roles in this profession.”

She and the other five award winners will be honored at the 2016 Women’s Leadership Summit on November 2 at the Westin Waterfront in Boston.

CLA congratulates Jessica on this well-deserved milestone in her career.
