Minneapolis — August 1, 2013 — Stacy Rubsam has joined CliftonLarsonAllen (CLA) as a tax partner in the Minneapolis office effective August 1. “Stacy Rubsam has long been known as one of the top tax professionals in Minnesota,” says Ben Horak, chief tax officer with CLA. “His reputation in the business community is outstanding and his passion for serving privately held businesses and their owners will fit perfectly with the CLA strategic vision.”
For 33 years, Rubsam has been focused on serving privately held clients and business owners. His clients have been in many industries, including manufacturing, real estate, and dealerships. He has many years of experience in helping his clients navigate through difficult tax issues as well as dealing with other business and succession issues. Rubsam is also skilled in individual, estate, and trust taxation. He is a former contributing editor of the Tax Advisor, the AICPA’s national tax publication.
Rubsam received a bachelor of science in accounting with high distinction from the University of Minnesota and a juris doctorate degree (cum laude) from the University of Minnesota School of Law. He is a current member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountants, the American Bar Association, the Minnesota Bar Association, and the Hennepin County Bar Association. Rubsam is a past chair of the University Pediatrics Foundation and currently serves as a board member for the Vikings Children’s Fund.
