Seattle — August 6, 2015 — CliftonLarsonAllen Wealth Advisors, LLC (CLA Wealth Advisors) is pleased to announce the addition of W. Clayton Bland as a principal in the firm’s Seattle (Bellevue), Washington, office. He comes from J.P. Morgan Securities, the wealth management division of J.P. Morgan, where he was a vice president and financial advisor. Bland specializes in serving business owners, high net worth individuals, retirees, corporate executives, pension and deferred compensation plans, foundations, and endowments.

He will be an integral part of the strategy to grow CLA’s wealth advisory practice in the Seattle, Denver, Phoenix, and other markets in the coming years.

Supported by solid experience

Bland has more than 16 years of experience in the financial services industry, beginning in 1999 with J.P. Morgan in Los Angeles. He returned to the Northwest in 2008 to help open J.P. Morgan’s Seattle office.

He attended King’s Schools in Seattle from kindergarten through high school, and received a bachelor’s degree from the University of California Santa Barbara, with majors in business economics and history. Bland has served on the board of trustees of the Bellevue Arts Museum and ArtsFund, and on the board of governors for Opportunity International. He and his wife, Jamie, live in Bellevue, with their two daughters, Katelyn and Reagan, and son, Kelly.
