Overview
Shevar Goonewardena is a principal in CLA's Roseville office. Shevar previously served as a senior manager at KPMG, a Big Four accounting firm in their audit and assurance practice. Shevar has more than 13 years of experience providing financial statement audit services to companies in the consumer markets, agriculture, manufacturing and distribution, financial services, governmental and nonprofit industries including benefit plans. He has significant experience in providing services to companies in the food and beverage and agricultural sectors, including cooperatives within the Northern and Southern California areas.
His experience includes complex audit and accounting issues, inventory management, cost accounting, business combinations, financial planning, and strategic planning. Shevar believes in pro-active client service. He prides himself in taking an active interest in each client's business, listening and spending time with them, and developing meaningful, lasting relationships.
