Husek Presented With NSAC Silver Bowl Award

The National Society of Accountants for Cooperatives (NSAC) presented the Silver Bowl Award to Thomas Husek, Engagement Director at CliftonLarsonAllen, at their annual meeting in Denver, Colorado.

Normal, Illinois — September 1, 2015 — The National Society of Accountants for Cooperatives (NSAC) awarded the Silver Bowl Award to Thomas Husek, Engagement Director at CliftonLarsonAllen, at their annual meeting in Denver, Colorado. NSAC is a 2,000-member service organization of professionals who are actively involved with the financial management of cooperative business. This rare recognition is the highest award given by the NSAC.

Husek has been involved with NSAC since 1980, and has served as a Board Member, National Membership Development Committee Chair, and as Past President for the Mississippi Valley Chapter.

He has worked with cooperatives for nearly 40 years, with special emphasis on grain cooperatives, farm supply cooperatives, and agricultural organizations.

Husek has a bachelor of science and  master of business in accounting from Eastern Illinois University. He is active in the Illinois CPA Society and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
